The location was absolutely mind-blowing, surrounded by breathtaking countryside and wildlife. The cabin had everything you could possibly need for a self-catering break, with a jaw-droppingly comfortable bed and bedding. We had the most peaceful and undisturbed sleep in a long time, thanks to the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The cabin's handy location made it super easy to take quick drives to shops, restaurants, and lots of lovely local attractions. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, suggesting amazing places to see and things to do. The private and cosy wood cabin offered stunning distant views, and everything worked perfectly, including the off-site car park and the electric kettle. It was a truly amazing place for a relaxed night away and an excellent base camp for exploring the surrounding area. Tesco and other amenities were conveniently just 5 to 10 minutes away. Plus, Rachel, the host, was simply lovely.

While the cabin had many positive aspects, there were a few minor downsides. Some of the utensils were not very clean, and there was dust observed behind doors and in some cupboard areas.

The location was epic, surrounded by stunning views and close to wicked attractions. We checked out the Galloway Forest Park and it was mind-blowing! The cabin itself was cozy and had everything we needed, plus the host Rachel was super cool!
The only thing we wish was better is if there were more options for late-night parties nearby. We love to have a good time and it would've been epic to have some awesome party spots nearby.
